Mali Fischer is an illustrator and artist, located in Portland OR.

Mali grew up on a little island off the coast of Washington State and later moved to Vancouver, BC where she attended Emily Carr University of Art & Design. She received her BFA in 2014 and since then has maintained her own drawing practice, while also offering her illustration services to business and individuals alike.

Mali approaches her work with empathy, authenticity and, sometimes, anxiety. She is interested in solving problems, helping others and being genuine. Her drawings are inspired by the landscapes of her childhood, everyday mundane beauty, unexpected companionship and a desire for genuine emotional expression. Mali draws to calm her mind and hopes that, in some small way, the lines she makes can have the same effect for you.
